2. Each bag should be 6” x 6” and have 1 pound of corn inserted into each cornhole bag. (We will not be weighing bags.)
CORNHOLE GAME PLAY:
1. Tournament seeding will be random. Brackets will be filled by drawing names out of a hat. Day-of registrations will fill in the bracket as applicable.
2. Two teams of two people, partners, shall play. Partners shall stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side, from the perspective of a third person, and face each other, so there is no advantage given to one team.
3. Each cornhole team shall have 4 bags of one color.
4. All 8 cornhole bags begin at one end.
5. A coin flip shall determine which cornhole team starts in inning one. Each team pairing will do this on their own.
6. One of the partners on the team who starts shall begin play by throwing a cornhole bag at the opposite cornhole box with an under-hand release.
7. A cornhole player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole box they are throwing from. The pitcher must be within the pitcher’s box or behind the foul line at the time of release.
8. Game continues by alternating throws between the two opponent players until all 8 cornhole bags have been thrown.
9. If a cornhole bag hits the ground then bounces up on the board, that “bounce-up” will not be scored and the bag will be removed from the board.
10.The next inning starts when the cornhole player on the team that scored last, throws their first cornhole bag.
11.The cornhole game will continue until one team reaches or exceeds 21 points or the 20 minute time limit has been reached. In the event of a time limit ending, the team with the most points will advance to the next inning.
FOULS: A foul occurs when any of the following happens:
1. A cornhole player’s foot goes past the foot foul line, termed a foot foul.
2. Should a foul occur, the bag thrown will not be counted at all.

2. Points shall be given as follows:
a. 3 points for a cornhole bag that goes through the hole.
b. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface.
c. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging into the hole.
d. 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the edge, but not touching the ground.
e. 0 points for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface, but also touching the ground.
f. 0 points for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the front edge and is resting on a cornhole bag that is on the ground (unless the cornhole bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to the ground, then 1 point is given).
3. The cornhole team with the highest inning score, adds the difference of the two scores to their game score.
4. The cornhole team who wins the inning is given honors to throw first in the next inning.
